Professional Mechanical Engineers who are authorities in their field of practice arrived from Manila and conducted the lectures. Headed by Engr. Eduardo P Mencias, Engr. Pacifico O. Ortaliza, Engr. Lorenzo P. Larion, Engr. Oscar Roque, Engr. Joseph David and Engr. Ernesto J. Casis. The seminar aims to strengthen the knowledge of Mechanical Engineers in the fields such as HVAC, Power Plants, Welding, Industrial Boilers, Machine Shop Practices, Elevators, Escalators, Compressed Air Systems, Manufacturing, PRC requirements, Ethics, RA 8495 which are usually the main topics being asked to applicants in taking the PME examination during the first interview. The PDC came about as a suggestion of the present Chair of the Board of Mechanical Engineering (BME), Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), Hon. Alfredo Y. Po not only as a professional service of PSME to Mechanical Engineers, but also to serve as a refresher course on the different fields of Mechanical Engineering. The Chapter believes that this project will inspire not only our members but other Mechanical Engineers and the companies they are working with, to enhance the practice of mechanical engineering and enable companies to comply with the provisions of the M.E. Law. |
